PTO CLASS DUES


	cLASS DUES Class dues will go toward teacher gifts (teacher appreciation gift, teacher's birthday), classroom supplies and year end class parties. We are asking for $50 per student in K-3rd and $60 per 4th grader. The dues are different from the PTO membership fee, which is per family and covers general costs like our website and other administrative expenses. Click HERE to pay class dues.

	walk-a-thon - friday, october 2 Grades 3 - 4 9:00 – 9:45 \| Grades K - 2 10:00 – 10:45 Grab your sneakers and Glenwood spirit wear! Our annual Walk-a-Thon is this Friday, October 2, and parents are welcome to come cheer on our walkers. This first Glenwood Gives Back event of the year supports Bridges Outreach, a local nonprofit fighting homelessness and food insecurity in Essex and Union Counties. Part of the funds will buy supplies for our students to assemble sustainable lunches for Bridges to distribute, and the rest goes directly to support their work. Online donations are LIVE! (click here to view) Check your email from 99 Pledges for your child's personalized fundraising page, then share it with family and friends to help us reach our school goal. 	THE giving tree The Giving Tree is a PTO-supported program that gives Glenwood families an easy way to support our teachers and staff by donating items needed throughout the school year. 	fALL GASA The registration period for Fall GASA is now closed. GASA classes begin the week of September 28th.

OCTOBER CULTURAL ARTS & EVENTS

	Caring Kids: 4th Grade Learning Differences Unit This important program helps students better understand and empathize with the challenges faced by children and adults with learning differences. To implement the program, we need parent volunteers from each 4th grade class. Your help is essential for this hands-on, impactful experience. Look out for a sign up link coming soon. 4th grade (units for K-3 coming soon)
	Circus Yoga This one week residency is sure to expand our 2nd graders' understanding of movement and performance. The students will explore expression through body movement, balance, props, strength and concentration. On the last day of the residency, parents will be invited to watch the final presentation...prepare to be amazed! 2nd grade
	Hollyrock Brain Challenge Game Show A ground-breaking live TV-style game show for kids of all ages. Our game show is an exciting and fast paced review of what kids have learned through their years in school and is an effortless method for holding the attention of students of any grade. Yearbook Photo Submissions

Help us create a memorable yearbook by sharing your favorite photos from school events! This year, we’re excited to use a new yearbook company and software, Treering. Instead of submitting photos by email, families can now upload pictures directly through Treering’s online platform. The more photos we receive, the better we can capture all the fun, friendships, and memories that make Glenwood so special!

SAM Program

Open to All Millburn Twp Students K-8

Want to extend your student's day even more, or start their day earlier? Look no further than the SAM Program. SAM stands for Students After-School in Millburn. It is a fun, comfortable place to go before or after school to enjoy a good time, great food, friends, hobbies, sports and to complete homework with assistance and supervision. The SAM program is licensed by the State of New Jersey.
