The list of programs offered to our children at Glenwood is long! GASA, Special Lunch, Field Day, Glenwood Global Gala, Class Parents, Library, Fall Family Picnic, Cultural Arts, Variety Show, Walk-a-thon….we could go on forever! These are just some of the programs the PTO runs, but none of these programs can be offered without your help. Two programs in particular that are still in need of Committee Chairs:
Strawberry Festival - The Strawberry festival is the PTO's largest fundraiser and the highlight for the school year. Our current Senior Chairs are looking for two Junior Chairs to shadow this year. The work during the year is minimal, requiring just a few meetings. There is a slight uptick in work as the event approaches. The Jr. Chairs will transisiotn into the Sr. Chair position the following year.

Cocktails and Converstations with the Ed Foundation
Please join The Ed Foundation for its January event: "Cocktails & Conversation" with MMS Principal John Connolly on Thursday, January 11, 2018. The Middle School will be converting its Multi-Purpose room into an "Innovation, Research & Design" space for next year thanks to the referendum that was passed in 2016. The Ed Foundation has gifted nearly $100,000 to MMS over the last three years, much of it for STEM technology including robotics, microscopes, 3-D printers, a "hands-on" electricity lab, as well as grants for STEAM Cycle Courses. Mr. Connolly will offer a sneak peek at plans for the implementation of exciting new STEM programs for next year including a Robotics Court. MMS technology teachers will offer demonstrations at the event. We know that in addition to MMS parents, all elementary school parents will also want to attend this event to meet your future principal! The Ed Foundation stands ready to assist Principal Connelly and the Millburn Middle School as they move forward with these very necessary enhancements at MMS.
