CURRENT EVENTS

Strawberry festival

We are so excited for our Strawberry Festival next week

May 27th from 3:15-6:30pm (rain date – Thursday, May 28th)

Thank you in advance to our Glenwood community for volunteering to ensure this year’s festival is a success.

A few reminders: This is not a chaperoned event.

Please ensure you pick up your child at 3:15pm and proceed to the festival. We ask that all children have a chaperone during the festival. Please remember to bring cash to buy extra tickets / wristbands.

Tickets are the only “currency” used during the festival and cash is the only way to buy tickets or wristbands (at designated ticket booths). All pre-ordered wristbands and tickets will go home in your child's backpack before the festival.

Diaper Drive ENDS Monday May 22ND

Glenwood will host a Diaper and Wipes Drive benefiting Moms Helping Moms Foundation from May 11 to May 22. We are accepting wipes or diapers of any size, including open diaper packs. Students can drop donations off on the table in the Glenwood entrance hall. A car line collection will be held Friday, May 15

An Amazon Wish List with donations shipped directly to the PTO has also been created for your convenience.

Volunteers for 2026-2027

The PTO is already planning for the 2026–2027 school year, and we’d love to welcome lots of new faces! No matter your schedule or skill set, there’s a place for you in the PTO. It’s a wonderful way to meet other parents, connect with faculty, share your ideas, and help make Glenwood an even more amazing community.

MAY PROGRAMMING & CULTURAL EVENTS

Shakespeare Residency: Shakespeare Pages to Players

Our students' imaginations will be unleashed as we relive the spirit of covered wagon travel (buffalo stampedes and snakebites included!), or complete our chores before heading to the colonial faire, or dance and sing with our favorite fairy tale characters!

4th Grade

Rizzo's Wildlife

Rizzo's interactive and fun approach to wildlife education will leave our students entertained and informed about reptiles, insects and other animals. A lifelong passion for animals and conservation often starts with a hands-on experience guided by wildlife enthusiasts like Rizzo's Wildlife team.
