The Glenwood PTO would like to amend the Article VIII Meetings section of the Glenwood School PTO By-Laws.
Section 1. General Membership Meetings currently states:
b) A minimum of five (5) general membership meetings of this organization shall be held during the school year. Dates and meetings shall be determined by the Executive Board and announced at the first general membership meeting of the year.

Strawberry Festival 2018 - Items going home on May 29.
All strawberry festival 2018 items are going home in your child’s backpack on May 29nd!
Look for the envelope! And, we really need nut free cakes for the cake walk!!!
We are also seeking donations for baked goods, and cleaned/pre-sliced quarts of strawberries! Please email Laura Freimauer at firstname.lastname@example.org or Sarah Uminksi at email@example.com if you can donate anything.
3rd and 4th Grade Field Day - DATE TBA
Field Day students should wear their team's color. Send kids with generous sunscreen and with a labeled water bottle. Parents are encouraged to attend and cheer on our kids as they participate in relay races that celebrate teamwork and sportsmanship.
Final Box Top Collection - WIN STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL PRIZES!!!
Our third and FINAL clipped Box Tops collection will take place on Friday, May 25th. Please send in all clipped Box Tops with your child. The first place winner this round will get to pick a prize from the Strawberry Festival prize table! Second and third place winners will receive strawberry festival tickets! We are so close to finding out the class that clipped the most Box Tops this year, and that class will win a “prize." Let's go Gators!

No Fuss Lunch - healthy, easy and flexible
No Fuss Lunch is offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Parents order directly through the NO FUSS LUNCH website. Lunch may be ordered daily, weekly or monthly. The list of programs offered to our children at Glenwood is long! GASA, Special Lunch, Field Day, Glenwood Global Gala, Class Parents, Library, Fall Family Picnic, Cultural Arts, Variety Show, Walk-a-thon….we could go on forever! These are just some of the programs the PTO runs, but none of these programs can be offered without your help. Two programs in particular that are still in need of Committee Chairs:
GRIT: The Power of a Growth Mindset

Millburn Film Fest

Ed Foundation Grants to the Glenwood School
The Ed Foundation funded over $8,600 to Glenwood School in 2017, fulfilling grant applications by David Jasin for classroom sound field systems and Lori Princiotto for “Green STEAM” materials.
Our fundraising work continues so that in the future we will be able to grant an even greater percentage of applications. We look forward to your continued support in 2017-2018.
