Principal Search Parent Input Session Thursday, February 27th, 7:00-8:00 PM, Glenwood MPR   Attention!! Glenwood parents are invited to attend a Principal Search Parent Input Session hosted by Dr. Diskin, Mr. Connolly and Mr. Bailey, on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from  7 - 8 pm.  All are encouraged to attend.  Your insights and perspectives are invaluable as the District seeks a leader who will support Glenwood’s continued growth and success and so that all can share reflections on the essential qualities, characteristics, skills and communication styles you would like to see in the next principal of Glenwood School.

Glenwood Global Gala Registration

 

Our Annual Gator Global Gala this year is on April 1st from 6pm - 7:30pm. 

The Gator Global Gala is Glenwood's celebration of our rich cultural diversity. You are invited to take a journey around the world and stop at each country table to learn about the many cultures that make up our unique Glenwood community.  Country tables may offer food, engage in activities or display facts about their heritage.  In years past, our gala night has celebrated 15-20 different countries with beautiful food, clothing and displays.  And for the kids, we make it a fun hands-on experience as they travel from country to country and get stamps in their Glenwood passport.  

 

So far we have the following countries represented, but always welcome more representation!

If you are interested in hosting a table or partnering with others from your country, please indicate your interest by registering here.  Registration closes on February 14th.  The Global Gala committee provides country flags for display and serving dishes so all you have to do is come up with the food or idea!

	Fresh Opportunities to Join the PTO!!! As we dive into this next semester, our PTO would love to welcome some fresh new faces and have new families get involved with our Executive Board.  We have a few seasoned veterans who are rolling off at the end of this school year, and we’d love to have anyone interested shadow our current Board, to have some great, informal training.     This is a rewarding and great way to get involved at Glenwood and to help shape the landscape of Glenwood moving forward, including having meaningful input in programming for our students, fundraising opportunities, how the budget ultimately gets allocated and much more.     Please email info@glenwoodpto.net if interested.
	Subscribe to PTO Calendars  Did you know that you can subscribe to PTO Calendars by clicking the "Calendar" menu, including the Glenwood PTO Calendar, School District Calendar, Special Lunch Calendar(s), GASA Calendar(s) and more!  Once you subscribe, the calendar is synced with your phone, helping you keep reminders at the ready.
	Class Dues to PTO Website The class dues ($50/child for K-3rd grade / $60/child for 4th graders) are paid on the PTO website.  Click here to pay class dues if you haven't already.  Class dues are used for class socials, incidentals and teacher gifts etc. for your child's class only.
	Yearbook Photo Submission Do you want to see pictures of your child in the yearbook? Help us make this year's yearbook extraordinary by submitting your pictures!  Please click here to submit your pictures.

The Millburn Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing Millburn students access to innovative programs, new technology, and creative opportunities not available within the district's limited budget.

 

The MEF encourages private philanthropy to enhance public education for students at all levels by serving as a bridge between our community and the schools.  

 

Thanks to the support of generous parents and patrons, the Millburn Education Foundation has donated over $3 million in gifts and grants since its establishment in 1993.

 

Please support your children's education by adding a donation to the Millburn Education Foundation while purchasing your PTO membership.  You may also donate directly to the MEF at any time by visiting their website at www.millburnedfoundation.org.

   Help is Available for Families in Need

 

Down the Block's mission is to provide short-term financial assistance to residents of Millburn-Short Hills who are facing unexpected financial setbacks. When a Township resident needs help paying bills (rent, utility, insurance, etc.) due to unexpected financial stress or because of losses in a natural disaster, Down the Block can step in with short-term assistance -- provided that their eligibility requirements are met.
