Fall Swag is here! Thanksgiving Food Drive
It's the time of year when we, as a school district, come together to support our local communities. From November 4th to November 15th, Glenwood will be working together with all Millburn Schools to collect, assemble, and distribute Thanksgiving meals to those in need in our community. In addition to your donation of food, we are asking for a minimum cash donation of $5 per student so that we can provide each family with a ShopRite gift certificate to purchase a turkey, produce and other perishable food items. There will be collection boxes outside of each classroom or a table just outside the main office, and car line collections will be organized during the event. Click here for the food drive flyer detailing donation items by grade. |
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS - FIND A SPOT HERE |
Lunch Volunteer Every family who utilizes our special lunch program should be volunteering for a lunch shift (11:10am - 1:10PM) at least one time a semester. You can sign up many weeks ahead to work around your schedule. Our lunch program is COMPLETELY volunteer-based and we cannot run it without the help of our parents. As a bonus, the kids love to see their parents at school! You can sign up for volunteer spots using this Sign-Up Genius Link, which is also available at registration, and pick the day that is convenient for you.

Important Message from PTO
We have been able to accommodate late orders and add-ons to registrations considering it is the beginning of the school year and everyone is just getting back into the swing of things, but please be advised that in the future we cannot extend sales and registrations past the initial deadline.
It adds a significant amount of work for our volunteers and is unsustainable. Deadlines are communicated via the weekly Monday morning newsletter, additional eblasts and are posted on the Glenwood PTO homepage. We thank you for your understanding and consideration in this matter.
