Early Dismissal and Bagel Snack There will be early dismissal at 1pm on Tuesday 4/16, Wednesday 4/17 and Thursday 4/18.  If you ordered bagel snack, it will be delivered to your child's classroom on the early dismissal days. There will be no GASA classes on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Odyssey of the Mind Congratulations to our six Odyssey of the Mind teams who competed in the state competition on Saturday, 13 April.  Two Glenwood teams have advanced to world finals!
Order Your Yearbook Today   Now you can hold on forever to some of the unique memories made this past school year!  The 2023/24 yearbook is now on sale for $40.  Order your Glenwood yearbook here!     Yearbook Ads Commemorate the 2023-2024 school year with a personal message published in the yearbook. You can design and submit your ad on the yearbook website. There are many templates and tools that allow you to create a unique layout with photos, text and design elements. Half-page ads are reserved for our graduating fourth graders ($25). Eighth-page ads are for all ($12). Thanks for your cooperation!   If you have a LINK account login from prior years, you can use it to access the Entourage Yearbook website. Glenwood SWAG Swap - April 18th Donate your outgrown / no longer needed, gently used (and laundered), Glenwood gear.  Swap or make a cash donation for "new to you" gear.  Collection will start on 1 April.  There will be a collection bin in front of the school during morning drop-off and afternoon pickup.    Click here for the flyer.

Millburn Township's Third Annual Poster Contest The Millburn Pedestrian Safety Advisory Board (PSAB) and the Millburn PTOC Safety Committee are conducting their third annual poster contest which is open to all Millburn students in kindergarten through 8th Grade!    Posters must be submitted by a parent/guardian by April 26, 2024.  Winners will be announced on May 2, 2024. 	Glenwood Green Team Initiatives The Glenwood Green Team is focused on reducing, reusing and recycling.  Please support their efforts and have your children bring reusable water bottles and reusable utensils at lunchtime.
	Important Message from PTO   We have been able to accommodate late orders and add-ons to registrations considering it is the beginning of the school year and everyone is just getting back into the swing of things, but please be advised that in the future we cannot extend sales and registrations past the initial deadline.   It adds a significant amount of work for our volunteers and is unsustainable.  Deadlines are communicated via the weekly Monday morning newsletter, additional eblasts and are posted on the Glenwood PTO homepage.  We thank you for your understanding and consideration in this matter.   ~Glenwood PTO

In partnership with Millburn Environmental Commission, we are planning an Earth Day event at Taylor Park, Bauer Center on Sunday, April 28, 12-3pm.

On this day, we hope to have students participate from EVERY school in the district. 

Whether it be poetry or painting, a science project or a dramatic performance, we want all students in Millburn to come out in this day and demonstrate to the community their passion for the planet.

   Help is Available for Families in Need

 

Down the Block's mission is to provide short-term financial assistance to residents of Millburn-Short Hills who are facing unexpected financial setbacks. When a Township resident needs help paying bills (rent, utility, insurance, etc.) due to unexpected financial stress or because of losses in a natural disaster, Down the Block can step in with short-term assistance -- provided that their eligibility requirements are met.
